The heads of railway administrations of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held their first meeting in Tashkent on October 27. This was reported by the press service of the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu".
The event was attended by representatives of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. The parties discussed issues of active cooperation between the railway administrations of the organization.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on the creation of a permanent working group on the implementation of initiatives of meetings of heads of railway administrations of the OTS member countries and a number of other agreements.
