On November 10, the Uzbekistan-Hungary business forum involving representatives of ministries, departments and commercial banks of Uzbekistan, Uzbek and Hungarian companies, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto took place in Samarkand, the press office of the Ministry of Uzbekistan reports.

The participants exchanged views on the development prospects of business cooperation in such areas as information technology, construction, machine building, agriculture, transport and logistics, alternative energy, tourism, as well as the mining, mineral processing, medical, pharmaceutical, food and light industries.

Members of the Hungarian delegation emphasized that business circles of their country were interested in expanding their presence in the Uzbek market and implementing joint projects.

The heads of ministries and companies from the two countries participated in G2B and B2B business meetings. The meetings resulted in the signing cooperation agreements in the automotive, transport and logistics and light industries and Memoranda of Understanding in medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, science and technology and fish farming.
