President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has studied three new projects aimed at the development of IT sphere in the republic. He gave instructions on their development in December during a meeting with the Ministry of Digital Economy, the press service of the head of the republic reports.

The President noted that by 2030, about 100 thousand workplaces should appear in the IT-park of Uzbekistan, and exports should grow up to five billion dollars.

To achieve these goals it is proposed to introduce Zero Risk program aimed at attracting organizations-exporters of IT-services to the regions. The companies will receive unused state facilities on lease for a year free of charge, they will also be provided with equipment and discounts on part of the costs.

There are also plans to launch a Local to Global program to support domestic IT companies in the global market. It is planned to compensate up to 50 percent of expenses for participation in international exhibitions and inviting foreign experts. In addition, the president was told about the "digital inclusiveness" project, in the framework of which young people, women and people with disabilities will be trained to provide IT services.
