Uzbekistan's Deputy Transport Minister Ilhomjon Abdugafarov met with Kyrgyzstan's Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Bekzhan Rismendeyev on April 2.
The meeting discussed issues related to deepening cooperation in the digitalization of transport sphere and exchange of experience in this field. Representatives of both sides expressed the importance of projects aimed at simplifying transport and transit procedures between the countries, including the use of modern digital technologies.
Special attention was paid to discussing the creation of an electronic permit system between the two countries, which is an innovation in the international experience in the field of international cargo transportation and was first implemented by Uzbekistan.
