A tourism and business forum in partnership with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan was held on 05.10.19 in Khujand, Tajikistan.
According to Kyrtag.kg news site, 15 agreements and memorandums were signed at the joint business forum in tourism between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan last weekend in Khujand, Tajikistan.
For the first time, the tourism business forum was held with the joint participation of the two countries. The two sides discussed the interaction and cooperation between the relevant state institutions and travel companies of the two states in the tourism sector. Mutual presentations on investment opportunities in tourism sector of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, B2B (Business to business) e-commerce model, company-to-company marketing and sales practices were included.
During the talks, it was decided that the next tourism business forum would be held in Kyrgyzstan in 2020. The parties also agreed that an agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan should be developed and jointly coordinated for the development of cooperation in the field of tourism.
