Individual money transfers from Russia to Tajikistan, in total, reached 649 million US dollars.
In the news of the Tajikta.tj website, in the second quarter of this year alone, the total volume of individual money transfers from Russia to Tajikistan was 649 million USD.
It was announced that the total volume of individual money transfers from Russia to Tajikistan in the first six months of 2019 was almost equal to the total export volume of Tajikistan in the first eight months of the same year.
According to statistics, Tajikistan’s total export volume in the first 8 months of 2019 is around 700.2 million USD. The main part of the potential export is primary aluminum, precious metal and cotton fiber. Primary aluminium and cotton are sold abroad as raw materials, and therefore the revenue from their sale is many times less than from the sale of finished products made of aluminium and cotton.
It is reported that the total volume of individual money transfers from Russia to Tajikistan in the first 6 months of 2019 is by 25 times more than the total export volume (25.4 million USD) from Tajikistan to Russia in the first 8 months of 2019.
The total import volume from Russia to Tajikistan in the first 8 months of 2019 was 629.2 million USD.
