Tajikistan will expand a list of liquefied gas importers. Turkmenistan will be added to the major liquefied gas suppliers - Russia and Kazakhstan. According to the Turkmen media, it was announced by The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Daler Juma on February 1.

The countries signed an agreement recently, under which Tajikistan could receive an unlimited volume of liquefied gas. The Minister of Tajikistan also reported that the country already received 5,000 tons of Turkmen liquefied gas in 2021. In total, Tajikistan imported 410,000 tons of fuel, 360,000 tons of which were imported from Kazakhstan. The rest of the liquefied gas was imported from Russia.
