A delegation from Tajikistan, consisting of employees of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, private industry organizations and representatives of UN (United Nations) industrial development projects, visited Uzbekistan.

According to the information from the news site Centralasia.media, the production of cocoon, satin and adras (a type of fabric made of silk and cotton) has been engaged in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan since ancient times, and today these areas are being revived.

It was noted that during the visit to the enterprises producing atlas and adras in Uzbekistan, the focus will be on the state support process, taxation system, sales market, production process, the selection and use of patterns in fabrics, the participation of designers and the export of finished products.

The Tajikistan delegation visited an exemplary plot of mulberry orchard, an exhibition of raw materials and finished fabrics, designer clothes. The parties discussed the process of forming joint ventures in the field of sericulture, cocoon processing, silk fabric production and exchange of experience between designers.

In addition, it is planned to visit businesses and workshops in Tashkent, Margilan and Fergana in line with the delegation's trip, which will last until February 11.
