Representatives of business circles of Uzbekistan arrived in Tajikistan. There they held talks with the heads of local authorities of Khatlon and Sughd regions. Entrepreneurs have announced their intentions to invest in the agricultural and textile sectors of the regional economy.
This was reported by the press service of the administration of the Sughd region.
Uzbek businessmen plan to invest more than $ 1 million in the construction of a modern greenhouse in the Temurjon farm in the Gafurovsky district. The area of the farm is about 5 hectares of land.
The leading manufacturers of the textile sector of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the enterprises of the textile sector of Tajikistan. The delegation of Uztextilprom visited the relevant economic entities and dehkan cotton growing farms.
In the near future, a proposal will be developed for Tajikistan on cooperation in the textile sector, which will include the creation of joint ventures in the country and the expansion of the republic's production capacities at the expense of Uzbek investments.
