Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan reached 485.46 million dollars. Compared to the same period last year ($125.9 million), it increased 3.8 times. This is reported by Trend.az with reference to the data of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the source, for the first 6 months of 2023 Turkmenistan entered the top 15 countries in trade with Azerbaijan.
During this period, Turkmenistan's exports to Azerbaijan amounted to $439.03 million, which is 3.8 times more compared to the corresponding period of 2022 ($115.08 million), the source notes.
During the reporting period, Turkmenistan's share in Azerbaijan's total imports increased and amounted to 5.36 percent compared to 1.81 percent in the first half of last year.
In January-June 2023, Turkmenistan's imports from Azerbaijan increased 2.7 times ($10.82 million) and reached $46.42 million compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
