The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan will become a full member of the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan will become a full member of the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States. This decision was announced at an extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly of the association with the participation of representatives of the Turkmen side, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reports.
At the meeting, held in a videoconference format, issues of developing multilateral cooperation between commercial and industrial organizations of the Turkic countries and deepening business ties between business structures of the member states were discussed.
The agenda included an item on the admission of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, which previously had observer status, to full members of the Association. This initiative was unanimously supported by the meeting participants.
Currently, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye are full members of the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States. The association serves as an international platform for strengthening economic ties between Turkic-speaking countries.
