Tourist companies of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan signed 8 cooperation agreements on the margins of the international conference "Main directions and opportunities for tourism development in Turkmenistan" held in Ashgabat on March 27-28, International Information Center reports.
The Kyrgyz Embassy also organized a meeting of representatives of tour companies of the two countries. The Kyrgyz delegation informed the Turkmen colleagues in detail about the main tourist destinations in the country. They also demonstrated video materials and handed over printed booklets, clearly presenting the opportunities for tourism in Kyrgyzstan.
The signing of the cooperation agreements was a significant step in the development of tourism cooperation between the two countries. Companies of both countries have received an opportunity to work together to organize tours and exchange tourist flows.
The next stage of strengthening ties in the field of tourism will be the organization of a study tour for Turkmen tour companies to Kyrgyzstan.
