On October 14, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev launched nine major investment projects worth $2 billion in Tashkent region including renewable energy facilities. The projects include a technology park, a textile industrial park, four hydroelectric power plants, two energy storage systems, and a solar power plant, according to a report by Spot, citing Uzbekistan president's press service.
