The increase in exports of textile products can noticed as a result of reforms in the production of finished products and the formation of added value instead of the production of raw cotton in Uzbekistan.

For instance, products worth $ 1.6 billion were exported by the end of the year 2019, which amounted to 9.1% of total exports and,  it increased by 1.3 times compared to 2018.
In the structure of textile exports, the main share is cotton yarn (56.9%), as well as finished knitwear and garments (21.8%). Since the beginning of 2019, more than 432 types of textile products have been exported to 59 countries.
