Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 November, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

Transport ministries from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and Türkiye have collectively signed a protocol during a multilateral meeting. The protocol outlines plans to establish an international multimodal corridor connecting Asia and Europe via Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Iran - Türkiye.
